The Treble Chorale is an auditioned group of 33 young ladies, who are at the pinnacle of music making at Hill Country Middle School. They devote a minimum of one class period each day to refining the art of making beautiful music. By using healthy vocal technique, sight-reading, and music theory, these singers create warm and rich sounds well beyond their years.
The HCMS Treble Chorale competes in two events during the school year. The first is our state-regulated UIL competition, which involves a concert performance and a sight-reading demonstration. The second competition is a singing festival out of town.
In addition to singing in public events, such as the Texas State Capitol and the Austin Toros basketball games, our 2010-2011 Treble Chorale also brought home Superior ratings for their UIL Concert and UIL Sight Reading earning them a Sweepstakes trophy! Congratulations ladies!
